My New Favorite Saying:
Reader Comments
(Page 1)2. Mr. Cuban, I do not know if you read your comments, however it is worth the try. David Stern MUST be replaced. There is no faith in the NBA's integrity with him as the commissioner. I have started a petition and I hope to gain your support. Do some investigating, poll NBA fans, Mavericks fans and see what the sentiment is. Attendance will be down next year, I guarantee it, unless a change is made; unless we have a new commissioner and a thorough investigation is conducted. I know you are a savvy business man, that is what everyone admires about you. I urge you to look around the message boards--90% of the general public has voted yes in response to the question 'Do you believe NBA games have been manipulated?' That is not good for business, Stern must go, consider backing such a movement please.
PETITION HERE: http://www.gopetition.com/online/19911.html
It is time the NBA's integrity is restored!
Respectfully,
Pete Gonzalez

3. I totally agree with you Mr.Gonzalez. I think it is a disgrace to the game and the fans to force game sevens so the league and owners can make more money from ticket sales and advertisement. The NBA has basically become the WWE or General Hospital

4. You're an idiot Mr. Gonzalez. Not only is your "movement" asinine, but Mark has already stated he thinks it's ludicrous that Stern would ever manipulate a game. The ref situation needs to be dealt with but removing Stern is hardly the answer.
Respectfully,
NBA fan with a clue

6. Well Mike you have no clue, because the point is not whether or not Stern has a hand in any game manipulation, but what he is doing to assure fans who know what they are talking about and care what they put their money into, that there is none of this going on and if it has that it will never be repeated. Stern has resorted to simply dismissing the allegations and saying Donaghy is a criminal--sure it is true, but you cannot dismiss such severe allegations without looking into it. It is his duty as commissioner to do something about it. You may be a naiive sheep, and probably argued with friends as a child in defense of the authenticity of the WWF--I am sure you thought Hulk Hogan was the true wrestling champ of the world and that none of those matches were fake. Wake up, FOOL.

11. Hi Mark, I think it's very important to live young, be young. Growing old, being called "mature", is nothing to aspire to.
I noticed in my early 20s, the phrase "you're so immature" got used a whole lot to describe anyone who was having fun, but once you get into your 30s, it's more a badge of honour.

16. My father once said "Son, when you have children they won't look at the world the same way you do."
From those words I've learned to never underestimate youth or their concepts. And it's what makes me strive to stay current and open to new ideas.

or maybe.. "Check in with me tomorrow. I'll be older and wiser."

1. That is full of catch 22's, you could act younger than your age but then in some cases you lose all you have built. You could act your age but what does that really mean. Basically live life to its fullest withen reason placing you back in the conundrum you started from? If it is from a physical only standpoint then you could risk injury to start trying things you haven't done in a while. If you stop to realize that before you try you may than not do what you were going to do. I think this statement may be close to what would you do if you could do everything over again, depends on if you are happy with your life. The mind can really get in the way, right before it saves your life!!!
